About Yvonne

Dr. Yvonne Corppetts, PhD, is a professional speaker, author, educator and motivator in the field of lifelong learning and self-development.  A member of the National Speakers Association and the Global Speakers Federation, she served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force for twenty years.  A former Commander with extensive background in behavioral science, she has worked with people from many walks of life.  Her presentations and writings include escape and evasion techniques that help readers and audience members avoid the “booby traps" of life and rise above mediocrity.  Since failure is not an option, Yvonne delivers inspiring messages to help empower people to get what they want.  She challenges readers to have a “Can Do” attitude through the unmasking of the imposter to discover their authentic selves.  Her techniques are focused on life strategies that allow for living with power, passion and purpose!

Yvonne has written several articles on personal growth and professional development that have appeared in publications throughout the world and been inspired by the many different positions she has held, including that of a columnist and a workplace mediator for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Yvonne has a PhD in education from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN, and combines her expertise in lifelong learning with additional degrees in social work and sociology/psychology.
